Samsung has released software updates for the Galaxy A56 and the Galaxy A55. They bring the June 2026 security patch, which addresses 45 security issues that were present in the previous firmware, making the phones more secure.
Currently, the brand is rolling out the updates in its home country, South Korea. The new firmware for the Galaxy A56 carries version A556SKSS8DZF2, and that for the Galaxy A55 carries version A566SKSS7CZF2 (via Mohammed Khatri).
We expect the company to release the latest Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A55 updates in other countries gradually over the next few days or weeks. To check their availability and get it, go to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
Recently, the tech giant updated the Galaxy A56 and the Galaxy A55 with One UI 8.5, which brought a new UI and many new features. Samsung has also started developing its latest Android customisation, One UI 9.0, for the former.
