There have been a few leaks of renders and images that have given us a glimpse of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S25 series. As the launch approaches with each passing day, the intensity with which these leaks hit the internet is only going to increase.

The new images that have been leaked online today show us the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The accessory that's been highlighted in these leaks reveals a striking similarity that these phones will share with Apple's iPhone.

Get ready to spend a bit more to use this Galaxy S25 feature

It was first reported last month that the Galaxy S25 will bring support for Qi2 wireless charging, which is based on Apple's MagSafe standard. It also makes magnetic alignment possible for compatible devices, much like how your Galaxy Watch snaps into place on its charging puck.

The images shared by Gizmochina show Spigen Crystal Flex cases for the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra with a MagSafe-type ring at the back. These images also show off the blue color option for these devices which will officially be called Icy Blue for the Galaxy S25/25+ and Titanium Silver Blue for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

This ring has become an ubiquitous flex symbol for the iPhone, much like its camera housing, with owners who like to show off their iPhones using them to subtly, but not really subtly, show in their social media posts that they own the latest iPhone.

Samsung could have opted against magnetic alignment since that's an optional element in Qi2, but if a case maker like Spigen has already made such cases, one can now count on this functionality being supported on the upcoming Galaxy S25 series. Apple fanboys will surely have fun making their comparisons.

What this also means is that customers will need to buy these cases separately, either from Samsung or a third-party like Spigen. So those who want to utilize this functionality in their next flagship phone from Samsung will have to open up their wallets.
