Samsung’s Galaxy Tab A11 is currently on a quarterly security update schedule, which means that the brand should offer it one security update every three months. However, the company has usually been providing it with a security update every month, and the tech giant seems to be continuing that trend.
Samsung has released a software update for the Galaxy Tab A11. It brings the July 2026 security patch, addressing 57 security issues present in the previous firmware. The tech giant seems to be rolling it out first in its home country, South Korea. It carries firmware version X135NKOS4BZG6 (via Mohammed Khatri).
We expect Samsung to release the update in other countries over the next few days. When it does, your tablet should notify you about it. If it doesn't do that in the next few days, you can check for it manually by going to Settings > Software update > Check for updates.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab A11 with One UI 7.0 (Android 15) and promised to offer it seven major OS upgrades. So far, the brand has offered one major upgrade. It means that the tablet is eligible for the brand’s next Android skin, One UI 9.0 (Android 17).
