The One UI 7.0 beta update might be coming later than everyone had hoped, but this could mean we'll enjoy a more polished test firmware than usual. Either way, Samsung isn't sitting around not doing anything, and new evidence shows that the company is hard at work developing the firmware.
A new One UI 7.0 internal test build for the Galaxy S24 series was recently discovered on Samsung's servers. This one carries firmware version S928BXXU3BXH8, whereas the firmware discovered before this latest one ended in version BXH4 (via @tarunvats33).
On the one hand, this occurrence doesn't tell us anything about how close the upcoming One UI 7.0 update is to being complete. However, it does confirm that Samsung is making progress, which brings us one step closer to the beta program.
Exactly when the One UI 7.0 beta program will go live is unknown, but once it does open to registrations, Galaxy S24 users in select markets will likely be the first to get invited. Other Galaxy devices are expected to join the One UI 7.0 beta testing period this year.
