The Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ first received the latest security patch on unlocked Snapdragon models in the United States at the beginning of the month, and, as expected, it is now making its way to the Exynos-powered models internationally. The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ are getting a new update in a couple of European markets that bundles the June 2020 security patch and also adds a new quick toggle to the notification shade.
After installing the update, you will find a toggle for the Call & text on other devices feature when you pull down the notification shade twice. This feature lets you take calls and send/receive text messages on a Galaxy tablet logged in to the same Samsung account as your smartphone, which is in turn connected to your carrier network. With the quick toggle, you can now disable the feature when you don't need it and enable it when you do, without needing to go into the phone's Settings app.
The latest update for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ comes with firmware version N97xFXXU4CTE9 and is rolling out in Germany and Switzerland at the time of this writing. It should soon be available in other countries. You can download it on your phone by opening the Settings app, navigating to Software update, and selecting Download and install. You can also update your phone by downloading the latest firmware from our archive.
