Samsung is rolling out a new update to Theme Park, a module for the company’s Good Lock app that allows you to create your own themes. It brings many improvements and at the same time, takes away some cool features. Let’s check those out.
According to the changelog, Samsung has changed the “previous ‘APK installation method to the devices’ ‘theme application method (Color palette)” which results in three improvements.
- Faster theme creation and application speed.
- The ability to edit and overwrite themes.
- Automatically reflects new icons for newly installed apps based on the current icon pack being used.
Samsung says that due to the change in “the theme application method,” the company had to remove four features from the app. Here’s what the change log says about the feature deletions.
- Remove ‘App's theme settings’
- Remove ‘Color palette change’
- Theme Park > Theme > ‘Keyboard' (or Theme Park > ‘Keyboard') > ‘Keycap Style' deleted
- Theme Park > Theme > ‘Home Screen' > Folder Shape Change deleted
The update changes Theme Park’s version to 1.0.09.72. To update the app to the latest version, go to Galaxy Store » Menu » Updates. The update is live on our Galaxy S23 in India. It should also be available on other Galaxy phones globally.
