Samsung is expected to debut One UI 6.1.1 with the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The upcoming version of One UI will reportedly bring many new Galaxy AI features, and details about one of those One UI 6.1.1 features have been revealed.

One UI 6.1.1 feature can improve portrait photos using drawings

According to reliable tipster IceUniverse (@universeice on X), One UI 6.1.1 will bring a feature that lets you use AI to paint on portrait photos captured by you to apply various styles. While they didn't explain the feature in detail, it looks like users can draw (probably using the S Pen) on portrait images captured on the phone, and the device will change the style of portrait images based on the drawing.

This feature will reportedly use AI, which means it will only be available on high-end Galaxy phones and tablets. It could be limited to devices with an S Pen, but we can't say for sure now. So, this feature will likely be released to devices eligible to get the One UI 6.1.1 update and already have Galaxy AI features.

Usually, One UI x.1.1 features are only released to Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Z series devices. However, this year, One UI 6.1.1 will reportedly bring many new Galaxy AI features, which will be released to compatible Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab, and Galaxy Z series devices. The update won't be called One UI 6.1.1 on Galaxy S series phones, though. It will be called One UI 6.1.

A previous report claimed that One UI 6.1.1 will also bring a feature that lets users convert rough sketches into proper-looking drawings and images in Samsung Notes. This feature will be limited to devices with the S Pen, such as the Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S9, and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
