Last week, Samsung talked about the Exynos 2400 processor, which brings 1470% faster AI performance. This chipset will be used in the Galaxy S24, and it looks like the company is aiming to utilize all that AI performance capabilities to bring plenty of new AI features with an upcoming version of its software: One UI 6.1.
One UI 6.1 update could bring several AI and Generative AI features
It is being reported that AI will be the focus of the One UI 6.1 update. Reliable tipster Ice Universe has revealed that One UI 6.1 will bring plenty of new AI-powered features and will be Samsung's most significant AI update in its history. The tipster also claimed the South Korean firm could unveil a powerful new AI digital voice assistant more capable than Bixby.
The report also claims that the Galaxy S24 will focus on AI-powered features, and Samsung could even market the Galaxy S24 as an AI phone. Since Samsung talked a lot about Generative AI and the Exynos 2400's native text-to-image capabilities, it is possible that we could see several Generative AI features on the Galaxy S24 series.
While this isn't official information, all things point toward AI being the central talking point of Galaxy S24 and One UI 6.1, which could debut early next year. After the launch of the Galaxy S24, the One UI 6.1 update will likely be released to all eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
