Yesterday, Samsung released One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy A54. Initially, the company made the new software available in South Korea and then rolled out the update in Europe. It hasn’t been twenty-four hours since then and Samsung is now expanding the One UI 6.1 update to the Verizon-specific model of the Galaxy A54 in the United States, which carries the model number SM-A546V.
The latest update changes the firmware version of the Galaxy A54 to A546VSQU6CXDE. The new firmware packs the April 2024 security patch, which the device has been running since the last software update. Your phone should automatically notify you about the update. If it hasn’t, you can check for the update manually by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install.

One UI 6.1 brings many new features to the Galaxy A54. You can check them all out in our video above or in our article dedicated to the topic. However, the latest software lacks many features that it offers on newer and costlier devices, such as the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy A55, including Generative Wallpaper, most of the Galaxy AI features (you only get Circle to Search), and features related to image editing and content summarization.
