Samsung was expected to release the stable version of One UI 6 Watch to previous generation Galaxy Watch models (Galaxy Watch 4, 5, 6) last month. However, by the end of last month, the company informed that it won’t be able to offer it till October or November, which was quite disappointing to know. Well, Samsung is trying to makeup for the delay by offering watch faces that are part of One UI 6 Watch in the current version of the OS (Wear OS 4-based One UI 5 Watch). Here's how to get them.
Samsung is rolling out an update to the Galaxy Wearable app for Android. After installing the update, when you open the app, it will show you a ‘Featured watch faces’ banner which says “get new watch faces for One UI 6.0 Watch.” Once you hit that banner, it will show you three watch faces from One UI 6.0 Watch — Spatial Number, Simple Digital, Ultra Info Board — as you can see in the image below (via SammyFans), and Download button below each of them. You can then download those watch faces and use them.
Samsung offering One UI 6 Watch’s watch faces to older Galaxy Watch on older firmware also indicates that the South Korean tech giant has almost completed the development of the new software. That isn’t surprising because the brand has already informed that it will release One UI 6.0 Watch in October or November.
