Samsung is expected to bring massive design changes with the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update later this year. Earlier this week, the first possible look at the stock Gallery app's icon was leaked. Now, the One UI 7.0 camera redesign has leaked, and it appears that we are in for a treat.

One UI 7.0 camera redesign focuses on one-handed usage improvement

Tipster @chunvn8888 has published a series of images of what appears to be the newly designed camera app that will debut with One UI 7.0. You can check out the design in the screenshots below. The fans of the original One UI design will likely love the new design, as the camera app seems to focus on improving one-handed usage. The new camera app icon has also leaked.

As you can see in the screenshots above, all the controls, including camera modes, quick controls, and zoom shortcuts, are easily accessible from the bottom of the screen. The Night Mode indicator icon is also visible on the bottom right corner of the screen. Thankfully, the navigation bar buttons haven't changed.

As usual, camera mode shortcuts and their placement can be edited. You can see all the existing camera modes, including Dual Recording, Hyperlapse, Night, Panorama, Portrait, Portrait Video, Pro, Pro Video, Single Take, and Slow Motion, in the leaked images. Quick controls for all settings, flash, timer, aspect ratio, image resolution, metering, exposure, filters, and stickers can be accessed through a horizontally scrollable bar.

Samsung One UI 7.0 Camera App Icon Redesign

Instead of the current red-colored camera app icon, One UI 7.0 could bring a new white/grey icon as seen in the image above. It shows the camera lens and a red LED indicator. This icon design might be harder to handle with Material You themes, though.

The story continues after our One UI 6.1.1 video below.

Rumors claim that Samsung will introduce extremely smooth animations and transitions with One UI 7.0. Other rumored features of the next big One UI version include newer icons with a 3D look, a simple App Lock, a vertical app drawer (via Good Lock), a new Quick Panel, and LLM-powered Bixby.
