Haptic feedback is widely used in smartphones to provide a sensory response to inputs by the user. These controlled vibrations are very effective and appreciated by users. Many Samsung Galaxy device owners feel that additional haptics would elevate the user experience, and have put forth their suggestions on how One UI 7.0 can make it happen.

One UI 7.0 is in beta currently and the entire reason Samsung launches a beta program every year is to take feedback from users and make its software better. It has responded positively to five haptic feedback recommendations that may hopefully make it to the latest iteration of its software.

Suggestions forwarded to the One UI 7.0 development team

A list of 5 new haptic feedback recommendations that users would like to see implemented has been shared on Samsung's official forums for the US. The first involves enhancing the existing back gesture to two smaller and faster haptics, much like how it's done on Google's Pixel smartphones.

Another recommendation is for a simple haptic to be triggered when the quick panel is accessed. This should go well with the new quick panel implementation in One UI 7.0. Some users would also like to see similar feedback when adjusting sliders like volume and brightness. Haptic feedback has also been recommended when a user opens the app drawer and switches between apps in the recent apps menu.

The beta moderator on the forums has responded positively to the suggestions, adding that they will be forwarded to the development team for their consideration. There's no guarantee that this will all be implemented, but at least users can feel confident that their feedback is reaching those who are actively working on making One UI 7.0 the best software upgrade from Samsung yet.

Samsung released the second One UI 7.0 beta last week and it's expected that the third would arrive in the coming days. The company is expected to release One UI 7.0 to the public early next year.
