One UI 7.0 will feel completely different even in early beta

Samsung might be taking its time launching the One UI 7.0 beta program, but it could be for the better. By all accounts, One UI 7 isn't just another incremental upgrade but almost like a reimagining of Samsung's proprietary skin for Android. The company better get it right, even if it comes at a time cost.

In fact, rumors say One UI 7.0 might be so different that Samsung intends to use this to its advantage and amaze beta testers from day one. First impressions matter, and Samsung wants to impress.

According to tipster @UniverseIce, Samsung intends for the first One UI 7.0 beta release to leave a positive mark on testers early on and build from there. Once people experience the new update for just one minute, their reaction should be to look at the previous One UI version in disbelief.

One UI 7.0 might be the best update in years

We've seen glimpses of One UI 7.0 through leaks, but not the bigger picture. The update should introduce new icons, a new lock screen design, a revamped notification and quick toggle area, and many other UI changes.

However, One UI 7.0 might be even greater than the sum of its parts. Bits and pieces aside, we haven't seen how everything will come together or how the upgraded UI animations will change the experience. We'll have to get a feel for these things first-hand, as different people can react to UI animations in different ways.

But once we gain beta access, it sounds like we'll be in for a treat. More so, if One UI 7.0 is the beginning of a new chapter in Samsung's software experience, we can't even imagine what next year will be like for Galaxy phone fans. Exciting times ahead!

As far as when we'll be able to try the first beta version of One UI 7.9, only time will tell. Initially, we were supposed to see the first test version going live in the third week of August. However, new rumors say the 1st beta got delayed indefinitely. Interestingly, the slow roll-out of One UI 6.1.1 to more devices, rather than early One UI 7.0 bugs, might be the primary reason for this pushback.

Why this small One UI 7.0 change seems like a pretty big deal

As you may have probably heard several times before, the upcoming One UI 7.0 update will change many things about the look and feel of Samsung's proprietary Android skin. But oddly enough, in my eyes, one of the most significant changes One UI 7.0 is supposed to bring is rather inconspicuous. If some of the […]

One UI 7.0 delay will only make its release more exciting

When is One UI 7.0 coming? Well, no one knows. Samsung rarely, if ever, tells us when a new version of One UI will be released. It simply makes the announcement the same day—or a day before—these updates start rolling out. It's the same story for the beta programs the company runs for testing major […]
