However, One UI 7 has been in development for many months, and we managed to find a Galaxy S24 Ultra running what is likely an early build of the new software at the conference and got our first real look at One UI 7 in action.

We have known for some time that One UI 7 will bring a major UI overhaul, and as you can see in the video above, everything from app icons to the notification shade and quick toggles have been redesigned.
Samsung has redesigned the camera interface, with most of the controls in the app shifted to the bottom for easier one-handed access, which is one of the principles One UI was founded on. The camera interface can be seen in the video below.
That's not all. The multitasking/recent apps screen has changed as well, as you can see in the screenshots and video below. So, yes, One UI 7 is bringing a lot of changes, and as we learn more about it, we are beginning to understand why Samsung isn't planning to release the official update until next year.
