One of the best features Samsung’s Android 15-based One UI 7.0 brings to the table is Now Bar. It is a small widget on the bottom center of the lock screen that offers you information about ongoing activities and tasks, such as music playback, voice recording, and timer.

It is available in the stable version of the OS on the Galaxy S25 and the beta version of the software on the Galaxy S24. However, there was no information if it would be available on affordable devices or not. Well, it will be, reveal leaked specifications of the Galaxy A06 5G.

Last week, a leak about the Galaxy A06 5G revealed Samsung’s documents for the phone’s internal training. One of the images from the leak shows that the phone will feature Now Bar.

The Galaxy A06 5G will be one of the brand’s entry-level models. and if it offers the feature, we think that One UI 7 will offer Now Bar on all Galaxy phones, even the most affordable ones.

One UI 7.0 update rollout status

While that’s great news, what’s disappointing is that Samsung has not released the stable version of the One UI 7.0 update to any of the eligible devices yet. The company usually offers a new version of Android very quickly after Google releases it. This time, however, that’s not the case.

Samsung says that is because it wanted to make a breakthrough with the new software, and that is taking time. Samsung has still not said when it will offer the update. However, despite delaying the One UI 7.0 rollout, it is expected to release Android 16-based One UI 8.0 on time.
