It has been a very long wait for the public release of One UI 7. Sure, Galaxy S25 buyers got it out of the box, but for everyone else, the wait has been agonizing. Samsung finally confirmed last week that it would roll out One UI 7 across the globe starting April 7. It also confirmed that the update will be released in the US on April 10.

Merely days later, the post on its official US newsroom announcing the April 10 release date was taken down without any explanation. This naturally led to speculation that perhaps the One UI 7 US release was being delayed. Fortunately, it seems that may not be the case.

United States back on track to receive One UI 7 on April 10

That post is now back up on Samsung's official newsroom for the United States. As things stand, it would seem that the One UI 7 compatible devices will receive the much-awaited update on April 10. This includes the likes of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Galaxy S24 series, and many other devices.

There's a lot to look forward to with One UI 7. It's a big overhaul for Samsung's custom skin, bringing a new visual identity and heaps of AI features. People have been looking forward to try them out ever since the beta was released. It's not just that. One UI 7 also brings Android 15 and all of the goodies that come with it.

While Samsung has not offered any explanation as to why the post mysteriously disappeared and why it has been quietly reinstated, that's not what most users are interested in. They just want to see the update land on their device on April 10. Let's hope the notification does drop that day.
