Samsung has yet to roll out the stable One UI 9.0 update for existing devices, but One UI 9.5-related leaks are already here. Earlier today, we reported that the next version of One UI will bring the App Lock feature. Now, the first look at the design of One UI 9.5 has surfaced.
Tipster Fahad Ali Javed posted screenshots showcasing certain UI elements of One UI 9.5. After flashing a leaked One UI 9.5 firmware (meant for Samsung's internal testing) on their Galaxy S26 series phone to see what the company has in store, they discovered that the update brings a subtle, glass-inspired look to specific UI elements, such as the floating tab bar.

The top header action buttons and widgets also appear to feature shinier borders and a drop shadow effect, giving One UI 9.5 a sense of added depth.

Additionally, Samsung seems to have moved the search icon in the Phone app from the top right corner of the screen down to the floating tab bar at the bottom.
After taking a pause with One UI 9.0 regarding visual updates, it seems Samsung has decided to introduce fresh design changes with One UI 9.5. This version could debut with the Galaxy S27 series in early 2027 before expanding to existing eligible devices in the first half of the year.
