However, unlike foldable phones from other Chinese brands, the Find N5 is pricier than the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
OPPO Find N5's “global launch” brings the phone to just a handful of countries
The OPPO Find N5 was launched in Singapore at a price of SGD 2,499, roughly equivalent to $1,871. That is more expensive than the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold in Singapore. Moreover, it is at least $300 more expensive than the 512GB variant of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 in the USA.
Granted, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is nearly six months old and uses the previous-generation chipset. However, a $300 price difference shows that the foldable phones from Chinese brands are no longer undercutting Samsung's foldable phones.
When Chinese brands launch their flagship phones outside of China, especially in Europe and North America, their price advantage starts to vanish. And Samsung's phones appear more competitive, especially considering its attractive trade-in deals, discounts, and a much wider after-sales network.
The Find N5 will be launched in some other Asian and European countries but not in the USA or Canada.
