Samsung customers enrolled in the Premium Care program now benefit from discounts on cracked screen repairs for a limited time. Premium Care members who own a Galaxy S or Galaxy Note smartphone and need to replace a screen are now looking at a fee of only $29, down from the usual $99 price.

The company says the discount lasts until June 1, 2020, but also assures customers that it's continuing to reassess extending this timeframe. It's worth noting that the deal is valid only for customers who visit a uBreakiFix service location.

Samsung is taking extra precautions to sanitize equipment

The company's revised FAQ for the Premium Care program includes details on the ongoing discounts as well as the company's steps to ensure a sanitary environment. Samsung's top priority is to keep you safe. To this end, technicians are wearing gloves, all work stations and tools are frequently cleaned up, and repaired phones are being sanitized when they're received and returned to customers.

Although the Premium Care program is available only in the USA, it's worth reminding that the company's new UV-C-based sanitizing service created in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic is available in more than a dozen countries around the world. It's available not only for Galaxy smartphones but also smartwatches and earbuds.
