A purported Galaxy S9 retail box has leaked online and it reveals the specifications of Samsung's upcoming flagship smartphone. These specs have already been rumored multiple times so it's not surprising to see them on the back of a box.
The box mentions that the Galaxy S9 is going to have a 5.8-inch curved Infinity Display. Previous reports suggest that it's going to retain the same 18.5:9 aspect ratio of its predecessor.

It's not uncommon for such leaks to surface in the days leading up to a flagship launch. There's always the possibility that it might be fake or doctored but some of the specs listed on the box have been mentioned in earlier reports.
As per the box, the Galaxy S9 is going to feature a “Super Speed” 12-megapixel Dual Pixel rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization. It's likely going to be the new 1.28-micrometer 12-megapixel ISOCELL Fast 2L9 sensor with Dual Pixel technology that Samsung launched three months ago. It apparently supports variable aperture, offering f/1.5 for low light shots and f/2.4 for when there's plenty of daylight. The box also mentions Super Slow-mo which is in line with rumors that the Galaxy S9 might support 1000fps slow motion like the Sony Xperia XZ Premium.
Whether or not that's actually true remains to be seen. There's a great chance that this is a very convincing fake but the box bears similarities to retail boxes for the Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8. So this leak may very well be legitimate. The Galaxy S9 may also have an 8-megapixel front camera with autofocus. The dual camera system is reportedly going to be reserved for the Galaxy S9+.
The usual suspects are present as well, these include the iris scanner, wireless charging support and IP68 dust and water resistance. The box also mentions Stereo Speakers tuned by AKG for the Galaxy S9. The handset is going to ship with earphones tuned by AKG. Last but not the least, it's going to have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
The Galaxy S9 will be powered by Samsung's latest Exynos 9810 chip in most markets. Samsung will release a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845-powered variant in select markets like North America.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S9 is going to be launched at Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona next month.
