We know you've been waiting patiently for it, and we're happy to announce that after months of hard work the brand new SamMobile Android app is finally here! It's available in beta right now as we're still polishing a few things to provide you with the best experience but you can now get in on the action.
Our new Android app has it all. It provides easy access to all of the latest news and our firmware database. You can also find all of the hardware information about your device within the app, so no need to install a separate app.
A cool feature we're really proud of is the ability to create your personal notification center. You can select only those news topics you want to follow. For example, only interested in the latest Galaxy S23 Ultra news? Head to Settings in the app, followed by Notifications to search and select the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Activate the notifications to only get notified when new updates about the device are available.
We know how much our readers love the dark mode on our website so we've brought that over to the app. You have the option to choose between a light and dark theme, even for the app logo. We're working on adding support for custom color palette as well.
Just a reminder, the app is in beta right now and our developer is working on fully fine-tuning it. Your feedback will be essential to getting that done, so do use the app and let us know if you'd like to see any improvements!
