SamMobile Podcast Episode 7 is live now on YouTube and Spotify! It's the seventh podcast Friday in a row, and for this week's episode, our host Benjamin Aboagye and special guest Damien Wilde of 9to5Google discuss Google I/O 2022, Android 13, Wear OS, foldable devices, tablets, and more.

We also have our ‘hot seat quest question' segment in the second part of the podcast, and Damien Wilde shares expectations of Samsung for the rest of 2022 into 2023, as well as One UI 5 upgrades and aesthetics.

I/O 2022 seems to have brought Samsung and Google together, as the two companies revealed a new health-centric Android API they've co-developed.

Google is also expanding the Pixel line of devices with its first-ever smartwatch and a new Android tablet scheduled for release in 2023. This new direction of Google could have positive ramifications for other Android OEMs — Samsung, in particular.
