Samsung, AIS, TrueMove H launch Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G in Thailand

5G enthusiasts in Thailand are now able to buy Samsung's top-of-the-line flagship phone, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, via the company's website or on a carrier agreement with two of the country's mobile operators – AIS and TrueMove H.

Samsung offers the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G for 21% off for 40,890 Baht ($1,271) down from the original price of 51,800 Baht ($1,610). When buying the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G from the company's website, customers in Thailand can also save 11,000 Baht ($342) on an Air Purifier and acquire it for only 990 Baht ($30).

A carrier agreement can lower the phone's price to roughly $758

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G can be purchase for as low as 25,900 Baht ($805) with an AIS agreement, or for 24,400 Baht ($758) on a TrueMove H contract. But regardless of which retail channel customers choose, the smartphone's specs are identical across the board and color options include Cosmic Black and Cosmic Gray.

The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G in Thailand is equipped with the Exynos 990 chipset and 128GB of built-in storage expandable by up to 1TB via microSD. Aside from blazing fast network speeds powered by 5G, other selling points include a 120Hz display and the 100x zoom capabilities enabled by the 48MP periscope telephoto shooter.
