If you're a foldable phone enthusiast in the UK but you have yet to purchase a smartphone from the Galaxy Z series then you're in for a big surprise. Thanks to a new promotion, Samsung customers that purchase the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G or the Galaxy Z Flip 5G before June 22 will have 60 days at their disposal to decide whether they want to keep the device or trade it in at full purchase price.
This is without a doubt the best time to get on board with the foldable device scene in the UK if you haven't done so already. Granted, you'll still have to commit to a fairly big investment since the phone has to be purchased at full price, but you won't be locked into keeping it in case you find out that you're not a fan of the foldable concept.
Likewise, you won't lose any of the phone's value upon trading-in for a different product, so you'll be able to exchange it for virtually any other Galaxy flagship phone that has a more conventional design.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G gets a permanent £200 price reduction
The good news continues as the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G is available at a reduced price starting today. The foldable flagship used to be sold in the UK for £1,799, but now it can be purchased for £1,599.
It turns out that Samsung hasn't permanently reduced the Galaxy Z Fold 2 price in South Korea only, and more markets could follow soon. The Galaxy Z Flip 5G remains priced at £1,229.
The 60-day ‘paid' trial period for the Galaxy Z series can be obtained through Samsung as well as partner retailers including Amazon, AO Mobile, Argos, Carphone Warehouse, Currys PC World, Dixons Travel and more.
