Galaxy S26 August 27 launch teaser
Not even a full month has passed since the last Samsung launch event, and the company is getting ready for another. Moments ago, Samsung sent out invitations for “Galaxy Event August 2026,” where we're guessing the next Fan Edition phone will be unveiled.
Samsung's invitation doesn't mention any specific device but does revolve around the Galaxy S26. The company says that on the date of the event, August 27, the Galaxy S26 series will welcome its latest addition.
Once again, the Galaxy S26 FE isn't mentioned by name. However, it's been nearly a year since the Galaxy S25 FE went on sale, and the massive number of S26 FE leaks over the past couple of weeks pretty much leaves no room for uncertainty.
Whether Samsung will have more to show on August 27 remains to be seen, but it's likely to be just a Galaxy S26 FE launch event. And for Fan Edition enthusiasts, that should be enough.
According to Samsung:
The newest addition to the Galaxy S26 family [was] purposefully designed to bring the core Galaxy S26 experiences from camera to AI, along with the latest One UI, to those who look for what truly matters most to them.
In less marketing-heavy terms, the Galaxy S26 FE aims to follow the usual Fan Edition formula of bringing core flagship features and superior build quality to a lower price point. “The latest One UI” means that the upcoming FE device should run One UI 9 out of the box.
Official pricing details are presently unknown. Rumors indicate that the Galaxy S26 FE may hit the market for $799 / €799.
On August 27, Samsung will stream the event live on its website and YouTube channel. Stay tuned.
