Two days before the IFA 2023 event, Samsung announced its new BESPOKE AI Washer & Dryer Combo. It eliminates the need to transfer the washing load from the washer to the dryer, making it more convenient. The new washer and dryer combo also features the Digital Inverter Heat Pump technology.
Samsung's BESPOKE AI Washer & Dryer Combo has a washing capacity of 25kg and a drying capability of 13kg via the heat pump. It also features SmartThings for smart home connectivity and AI-powered technology for improved washing performance and power efficiency (using AI Energy Mode in the SmartThings Energy). Users can easily set the washing programs and access other settings through a wide LCD display. This screen also displays informative reports at the end of the washing cycle.
The washer calculates the weight of the washing load, the softness of the fabric, and the level of soiling using water turbidity. Then, it optimizes the amount of water and detergent. It continuously adjusts each load's soaking, rinsing, and spinning time to achieve the best cleaning results and improved power efficiency. Once the washing cycle is complete, the door of the washer opens automatically. After opening the door, it also lets out humid air and takes fresh air into the drum. The BESPOKE AI Washer & Dryer Combo will be showcased at Samsung's IFA 2023 booth in Berlin.
