The best Samsung Ultra laptop equipped with a dedicated Nvidia RTX GPU is now available for $500 less without a trade-in.

Samsung's latest Galaxy Book 5 series doesn't include an Ultra model. It may never do. Samsung hasn't announced a Galaxy Book 5 Ultra yet, and the existing Book 5 models all come with integrated Intel Arc GPUs.
If you're in the market for a slim Samsung laptop equipped with a dedicated GPU, your best option is the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra. And right now, this beefy laptop is $500 off without a trade-in.
The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is available in two configurations. One features the Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU, and the other boasts the more powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 CPU and GeForce RTX 4070 GPU combo. The latter also has 32GB of RAM instead of 16GB.
Both configurations are now $500 off without a trade-in. The Intel Core Ultra 7 variant costs $1,899 instead of $2,399. And the Intel Core Ultra 9 model is available for $2,499 instead of $2,999. These offers are available at Samsung's e-shop in the USA, but you may find similar deals in other markets. Hit the buy button below to find out at your regional Samsung online store.
The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra remains the best Samsung laptop for users who want a powerful, portable PC that can play more demanding video games at decent resolutions and graphics settings. It's also a great choice for video editing and applications that can take advantage of the more powerful graphics card.
Samsung's Ultra laptop features a 16-inch WQXGA+ (2880 × 1800) AMOLED touchscreen with an anti-reflective coating.
The GeForce RTX 4050 GPU inside the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra has 6GB of GDDR6 memory and a Boost Clock of 1,605MHz. The RTX 4070 boasts 8GB of GDDR6 memory with a Boost Clock of 1,230MHz.
If you're planning to connect the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra to an external monitor, the laptop is equipped with an HDMI 2.1a output. It also has one USB3.2 and two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a microSD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone/mic port.
Finally, the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra has a backlit full keyboard with a numeric keypad and a fingerprint scanner.
A while back, we compared the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra with its predecessor and showcased some of its capabilities. You can check out our video below for a brief overview.
And if you're not very keen on a laptop with a dedicated GPU, you should check out the Galaxy Book 5 instead of the Book 4 series. Once again, the Book 5 lineup lacks an Ultra model, but the 360, Pro, and Pro 360 variants are priced the same or sometimes better than their predecessors.
