Samsung partnered with India's payments and installments platform Benow earlier this month to bring 20,000 smartphone retailers online, and now, the company is expanding its Benow partnership to give domestic consumer electronics retailers and customers the same opportunities.
Through this Samsung-Benow partnership, offline retailers now have an e-commerce avenue and customers are able to purchase consumer electronics online, from the comfort of their homes, through various payment methods including cash on delivery, debit and credit cards, easy EMI, and more.
~5,000 retailers already take advantage of this Samsung-Benow partnership
According to the local media, roughly 5,000 offline consumer electronics retailers in India have signed up to benefit from this alliance between Samsung and Benow. Other retailers can join the e-commerce movement through the Benow app and after Samsung shares the respective retailers' details with Benow. Therefore, the number of Indian offline retailers to offer Samsung consumer electronics through this online avenue is bound to continue to grow.
Samsung and Benow have already brought more than 20,000 Indian offline smartphone retailers in the e-commerce space in under a month. This strategy was initiated in large part by the COVID-19 lockdown. It provides means of increasing sales for Samsung while giving customers a safe way to shop for mobile devices. Now, prospective buyers can use Benow to shop for a wider variety of Samsung products, ranging from TVs to refrigerators.
