Samsung has released an update to the Samsung Calendar app for Galaxy smartphones and tablets. It changes the app’s version to 12.6.01.17 and brings four major features, which makes the already great app even better.
First, on a particular date, if there’s an event, it allows users to drag it to any desired date, making it easier for them to reorganise their calendar. To use this feature, all you have to do is press and hold on an event and then move it to another date.
Second, the update brings an option to display events from a specific calendar in the Calendar widget. The new feature will prevent the Calendar widget from showing unwanted events on the home screen and help you focus on the things that matter.
Third, on the event details screen, it allows you to add a Countdown widget, making it easier for you to keep track on how long you have for the event. Fourth, it allows people to move all the events in one calendar to another calendar at once.
To get the latest update, go to Galaxy Store » Menu » My apps and tap on the update icon beside Samsung Calendar or on the Update all button at the top-right corner of the screen. We have received the update on our Galaxy S23 in India.
