Samsung has released an updated version of the Samsung Calendar app for Galaxy smartphones and tablets. It brings several improvements to stickers, search history, repetition options, and color options for reminders. Right now, the update is available in South Korea, but we expect it to become widely available soon.
Samsung Calendar update brings option to hide search history
The latest version of Samsung Calendar (12.4.06.15) brings improvements to stickers. It also brings the new option to hide search history, so if you want to clear your recent searches to declutter the view, you can do that now. Samsung has also added a new feature that offers automatic recognition of repetitive settings when adding entries from the Quick Add menu. The company says that it has also included improvements to the category colors for Reminders.
Once the new Samsung Calendar update becomes available in your country, you can install it on your Galaxy smartphone or tablet from the Galaxy Store. However, note that these new features only work on devices running Android 12 (One UI 4.x) and Android 13 (One UI 5.x).
Samsung Calendar is among the most feature-rich calendar apps available on Android smartphones and tablets. It offers plenty of features like quickly adding events, inviting others to events, shared calendars, third-party calendar invitations, weekly weather information, color coding entries, widgets, recurring entries, emojis, stickers, and more.
