Samsung customers in many regions might take the Care+ program for granted. However, the reality is that Samsung Care+ is subject to different availability policies per market, similar to many other Samsung services. Today, the company announced that Samsung Care+ is available in Switzerland for select devices.

Better late than never, customers in Switzerland can now sign up for the Samsung Care+ subscription when they buy select devices in the Galaxy S, Galaxy Z, and Tab S lineups from the official e-shop.

Alternatively, customers who buy devices from Samsung retail partners can sign up for the Care+ package online within 60 days of purchasing.

The Care+ insurance covers accidental damage, including broken screens and water damage. Customers can make two repair or replacement claims per year.

There are two Samsung Care+ tiers called Base and Premium. The latter also offers theft protection. Prices vary depending on the model being covered and tier but start at CHF 49 ($55) per year.

As of now, supported models that are covered by the Samsung Care+ insurance package include the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S10+, and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra.
