If you own a Samsung product, especially a Galaxy smartphone, tablet, smartwatch, or pair of earbuds, you may already be familiar with Samsung Community. It is a platform where users can discuss the brand's products, seek help, share tips, and connect with fellow users.
Now, Samsung has announced that it is preparing a major overhaul of the platform, which will take it offline for approximately 72 hours. The maintenance is scheduled to begin at 2:30 PM IST on Friday, October 30, 2026, and end at the same time on Monday, November 2.
The revamp aims to make the platform more stable, secure, and user-friendly. However, draft posts, direct messages, bookmarks, and subscription settings will not be transferred to the new system. Some personalized data associated with inactive beginner accounts may also be lost. Samsung advises users to back up important content before the maintenance begins.
The upgrade will also introduce changes to community features and policies. Users will no longer be able to delete posts that have received comments or comments that have received replies. Only top-level comments, not replies, will be eligible to be marked as accepted solutions.
During the outage, Community access and interactions will be unavailable through the app and website. Other Samsung Members services and Galaxy devices will remain unaffected.
