It has long been rumored that Samsung could launch at least four Galaxy S27 series phones next year. While three of them will succeed the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, the fourth could be an entirely new model. Samsung has now revealed that it plans to call that phone the Galaxy S27 Pro.
Documents discovered in the GSMA database reveal that Samsung has three unannounced devices in development. They carry the model numbers SM-S956U, SM-S957B/DS, and SM-S958U. The documents for the SM-S956U identify it as the Galaxy S27+, while those for the SM-S957B/DS identify it as the Galaxy S27 Pro. The GSMA documents for the SM-S958U list it as the Galaxy S27 Ultra.

Earlier, a phone with the model number SM-S952U was also spotted in the GSMA database under the name Galaxy S27.
So, it is now almost confirmed that Samsung plans to launch four Galaxy S27 series phones early next year. The company could follow them with the Galaxy S27 FE later in 2027.
Previous reports and rumors suggest that the Galaxy S27 Pro will be very similar to the Galaxy S27 Ultra in terms of features and specifications. However, it is expected to have a more compact design, centered around a 6.5-inch (6.47-inch, to be exact) Dynamic AMOLED 2x display. It is also rumored to omit the S Pen.
It could feature a 12MP front-facing camera, a 200MP primary rear camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera with autofocus, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.
The phone is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro for Galaxy processor and could feature 12GB or more of RAM, 256GB or more of UFS 5.0 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 45W or faster charging.
