The Galaxy Z Flip 5, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, and the Galaxy Tab S9 tablet series leaked in renders a week ago. Samsung's upcoming tablets were rendered in a single color option, black, but it turns out that there may be others.
The source of the original renders, @rquandt, now says that Samsung's Galaxy Tab S9 series might be available in Dark Blue.
But at the same time, the source says this alleged Dark Blue color may be just a byproduct of an image conversion process. A miscoloring error may have cropped up when converting Samsung's leaked material pictures to a different file format. The source had no renders to share.
Galaxy Tab S9 might be available more color options
Possible errors aside, this isn't the first time we hear that the Galaxy Tab S9 series might be slightly more colorful than the previous models.
Last month, word was that Samsung may be planning to release the Galaxy Tab S9 in Beige. The company never used Beige for its high-end tablet lineup, so it would be a first.
The Galaxy Tab S9 trio of tablets can be reserved online and should be available for pre-order starting July 26. Early adopters who pre-register now and buy one of the products to-be-unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked get $50 in Samsung Credit. And in some markets, pre-order incentives might include a free Slim Keyboard Cover for Samsung DeX.
The tablets are said to be powered by the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The base Tab S9 model should boast an upgraded AMOLED display instead of a TFT LCD but may abandon its ultra-wide camera and rock a single rear-facing sensor.
The 12.4-inch Galaxy Tab S9+ should strike a balance between the base and Ultra variants, and the latter, i.e., the 14.6-inch Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, might retain the display notch introduced in 2022.
