Samsung's state-of-the-art Onyx cinema experience is reaching more people. Today, Samsung announced it has successfully installed its stellar Onyx LED screens at the Pathé Palace theater in Paris, France.
The Onyx LED displays fit perfectly at Pathé Palace, especially since the theater was completely renovated over five years ago. In total, Samsung says it added six Onyx screens.
Four Onyx displays have a 4K resolution and a width of over 10 meters. The other two Onyx screens are five meters wide and have a 2K resolution.
In addition, Samsung installed The Wall in the Pathé Palace main lobby. The stunning MicroLED panel measures 5.4 x 9.6 meters and uses the MICRO AI Processor to upscale every frame to an 8K resolution. Its fantastic HDR capabilities make images stand out.
Samsung also installed Smart Signages (QMC series) at the Pathé Palace theater. Visitors can see theater schedules and movie trailers on these signages.
To top it all off, the Pathé Palace headquarters office now boasts around 200 ViewFinity S9 5K monitors, and Samsung also installed The Wall in the boardroom for immaculate video conferences.
As for the consumer side of things, Samsung's Onyx LED panels offer a fantastic viewing experience. They are the world's first DCI-certified cinema LED displays. They're also capable of rendering 3D movies.
