The Galaxy S23 Ultra features a telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom which is the best in the smartphone industry today. This telephoto camera also enables the cool 100x zoom feature; we’ve seen how even Elon Musk was impressed with it. However, not many people buying the Galaxy S23 Ultra are aware of this amazing feature, and that’s probably why Samsung has kicked off a new campaign in Korea to show off the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 100x zoom functionality and to create a stronger brand connection with the audience.
The latest campaign is called ‘Galaxy Power Table’ or at least that is what it reads when you translate Samsung’s Korean press release. In this campaign, Samsung has installed A4-sized posters on the outer walls of ten of its stores in the country. These posters are located high up on the buildings, and therefore, reading what’s written on them isn’t possible with the naked eye, and this is where Samsung’s asking potential customers to use the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s 100x zoom functionality to check out what’s the poster about.
That’s an exciting way to demonstrate the capabilities of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, lure in new customers, and create a brand following. The ten stores where these posters are installed are located in Hongdae, Daechi, Cheongdam, Seocho, Gangbuk, Ilsan, Yeonsu Songdo, Bucheon Jung-dong, Magok, and Gangseo.
As a part of this campaign, Samsung has announced that Galaxy S21 Ultra, S22 Ultra, and S23 Ultra users can post images of far-away billboards that they’ve taken with the 100x zoom functionality of these phones on Instagram with the ‘GalaxyCalendar’ hashtag to win Galaxy S23 Ultra or Galaxy Buds 2 Pro in a lottery.
The Galaxy Power Table campaign is a part of the Galaxy Calendar campaign, which is a part of the Social X Project, a more extensive campaign where X is experimenting with new ways to interact with consumers and influence them in an exponential way. The Galaxy Calendar campaign kicked off on 8 April 2023, and it will go on for a month till 7 May 2023.
Commenting on the launch of this campaign, Lee Young-Hee, President of the Global Marketing Department at Samsung Electronics, said, “The Social X project will contribute to more intimate communication with customers who enjoy new and unique experiences, We will plan various projects to make it possible.“
