Samsung has released the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 beta update to the Galaxy S21 series in select markets, including Germany, India, Poland, South Korea, the UK, and the US. Along with all the features included in the stock Android 12 codebase, One UI 4.0 brings some additional features, including a new widget picker and new lock screen widgets. We have discovered that the new software also brings a new weather widget.

The South Korean firm calls it a Dynamic Weather widget. It can be seen towards the top of the Weather section in the widget picker screen. Unlike existing weather widgets, the Dynamic Weather widget uses a colorful background and cute animations. The animations and background colors change depending on the current weather conditions. For example, it changes to light blue when the weather is cloudy and grey when thunderstorms occur.

It also displays the current location, last refreshed time, and a button to refresh the information manually. It also uses Samsung's new loading animation that was introduced with One UI 4.0. Of course, you can change the new widget's size, depending on your preference.
