Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra's software update

Samsung has removed the Galaxy A04s from its Security Updates page, indicating that the brand has ended software support for the phone.

This means the company will no longer offer software updates of any kind, including major Android OS upgrades and security patches, to the device.

While this doesn't necessarily mean that your Galaxy A04s is immediately at risk, the lack of security updates could leave it more vulnerable to newly discovered security threats over time. Therefore, it is a good idea to upgrade to a newer phone. You may want to take a look at the Galaxy A08.

Samsung launched the Galaxy A04s on August 31, 2022, with One UI Core 4 (Android 12). During the software support period, the brand offered it two major Android OS upgrades, with the device currently running One UI 6.1 (Android 14). Its last software update brought the August 2026 security patch.
