In a new partnership with The Forestias by MQDC, which is Thailand’s biggest property development project, Samsung has installed its immersive state-of-the-art display technology, “The Wall,” in the Forest Pavilion.
The Forest is situated at the center of the project in Bangkok, and thanks to Samsung's The Wall display technology it's essentially a 360-degree theater, letting the audience enjoy a one-of-a-kind viewing experience. The “Chamber of Secrets” is the main highlight inside The Forest Pavilion, developed by T&B Media Global Co.
Samsung is lighting up Bangkok with The Wall's 200 million pixels
Notably, Samsung's The Wall is the world's first modular MicroLED display solution. This innovative technology allows an ultra-high-definition cinematic experience.
Speaking of The Wall's specifications, this MicroLED display measures 38.707m x 3.628m (126.99ft x 11.90ft) for a total surface area of 140.43m² (1,511.18ft²). It is composed of 384 cabinets arranged in such a way to produce a 360-degree continuous image with 4 sides. It amounts to a resolution of 46,080 x 4,320 pixels or 200 million pixels.
Besides, The Wall MicroLED from Samsung is the only technology in this space. The Forest Pavilion in Bangkok currently functions as a sales gallery. According to the official newsroom post, this pavilion will later be transformed into a learning center for the residents.
