Samsung has just announced two new budget phones in Europe, and more specifically, in France. The Galaxy A25 and Galaxy A05s are now official, although Samsung hasn't yet revealed pricing and availability details for this part of the world.
The Galaxy A25, which was also launched in Vietnam today, will go on sale in three color options: midnight blue, blue, and lime. The Galaxy A05s will be available in black, silver, and lime. Samsung underlines that color availability may differ by carrier and country.
The same great support for new firmware?
Samsung didn't mention which version of One UI the Galaxy A25 and A05s have at launch in France, but it should be Android 14 and One uI 6.0 for the A25 and One UI 5.1 for the A05s.
The company did say that the Galaxy A25 will receive four OS upgrades throughout its lifetime and five years of security patches.
However, once again, Samsung was a bit light on details and hasn't been very clear on whether or not the Galaxy A05s will benefit from the same treatment. In its official announcement for France, it made no mention of firmware support for the Galaxy A05s.
As far as memory options go, the Galaxy A25 will be available with 6GB of RAM+128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM paired with 256GB of storage.
The Galaxy A05s features 64GB of storage but Samsung omitted RAM details. Given the limited storage option, we're guessing the A05s in France has 4GB of RAM.
