As an official Worldwide Olympic Partner, Samsung is now preparing for two major upcoming events: Paris 2024 and Galaxy Unpacked. In a final countdown to both, Samsung kicked off its Olympic and Paralympic “Open Always Wins” campaign and celebrated the launch of a new limited-time Experience Center in Paris.
On the 29th, the tech giant inaugurated its new Samsung Olympic Experience Center, a.k.a. Olympic rendezvous, at 125th Street, Champs-Elysees.
The opening ceremony was attended by Samsung MX President TM Roh, Paris Olympic Organizing Committee Secretary-General Étienne Thobois, Samsung Galaxy Player Johanne Defay, Karam Singh, Ugo Didier, and officials from both the City of Paris and the International Olympic Committee.
Samsung designed the Olympic Experience Center in collaboration with French architect Jean Nouvel, winner of the Pritzker Architecture Prize. Samsung says the Experience Center was inspired by the 17th century ‘Salon,' where culture, art, and knowledge converged.
Perfect timing for Paris 2024 and the next Unpacked event
The new Experience Center in Paris will be officially opened for the public on May 3 and it is scheduled to close its doors later this year, on October 31. For this duration of time, it will be the best place for Parisians and Olympic and Paralympic fans to experience the latest Samsung mobile technologies and Galaxy AI innovations.
Samsung is expected to host the next Unpacked on July 10 in Paris, two weeks before the Paris 2024 event kicks off. Given that Samsung is an official IOC partner, it's almost as if the stars have aligned.
At Unpacked, Samsung will unveil its latest foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. It is also expected to reveal new Galaxy AI innovations as part of the One UI 6.1.1 update. And the company will also announce new Galaxy Watch 7-series wearables. One other exciting reveal should be the Galaxy Ring, which perfectly fits the Olympic theme.
