After launching the Galaxy A05s in India last month, Samsung is all set to launch another Galaxy A-series phone, i.e., the Galaxy A05 in the country. News about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A05 has been pouring in for some time, and it was earlier reported that the phone will be pricier than its predecessor. While we have to wait for any official information on that, the Galaxy A05 has recently picked up the Bluetooth SIG certification, confirming an imminent launch in India.
According to the Bluetooth SIG, different models of the Samsung Galaxy A05, like the SM-A055F-DS, SM-A055F, SM-A055M-DS, and SM-A055M, have picked up the Bluetooth SIG certification. It seems like all these different models of the Galaxy A05 are for different markets, and based on past leaks, one of them belongs to the Indian market.
The Galaxy A05 model, SM-A055F-DS, is speculated to be for the Indian market
Recently, as spotted by 91mobiles, the support page for the Galaxy A05 went live on the official Samsung India website. The model number that the support page displayed was SM-A055F-DS, which is believed to be the model that will come to India. Moreover, the phone is speculated to be launched in black, silver, and light green colors.
Not much is revealed in the Galaxy A05 Bluetooth SIG certification, but based on previous rumors, the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and will sport a 6.7-inch display, a 50 MP primary rear camera, and an 8 MP selfie shooter. The Galaxy A05 will be powered by Android 13 (One UI 5.1), which will receive two years of OS updates and four years of security updates.
