Samsung has revealed that it will launch two new affordable smartphones in India this week. The company will unveil the Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy A25 5G in the country on December 26, 2023. These will be the first phones from Samsung's smartphone lineup for 2024, and the Galaxy S24 will be launched in the second half of next month.

The Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy A25 5G will bring Samsung's new design language. Samsung has revealed a teaser of the design of both phones, and they both have a ‘Key Island,' which is a bump on their metal frame featuring power and volume keys. The power button on the Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy A25 5G appears to be a fingerprint reader as well. Both phones also feature a triple-camera setup on the rear, featuring individual camera rings, similar to the company's existing smartphones launched in 2022 and later.

Samsung has also confirmed that the Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy A25 5G feature Super AMOLED screens with Vision Booster technology. The Galaxy A15 5G has a 50MP primary rear camera with VDIS (Video Digital Image Stabilization), a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 13MP selfie camera. The company has also revealed that the Galaxy A15 5G will have higher RAM and storage variants than its predecessor, the Galaxy A14 5G. The phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ processor, 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, and a microSD card slot.

The Galaxy A25 5G has a Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It, too, has a 50MP primary rear camera, but it also features OIS on top of VDIS. It also has an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 13MP selfie camera. It can record 4K 30fps videos using the primary rear camera. It features a 5nm Exynos 1280 processor that will power several AI features for image and video editing. Both phones also feature the Samsung Knox Security program for added security through features like Auto Blocker, Privacy Dashboard, Samsung Passkey, and Secure Folder. Samsung will offer more security and Android OS updates to the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G compared to their predecessors.

Both phones are powered by a 5,000mAh battery and support 25W fast charging. Samsung has already launched the Galaxy A15 5G and the Galaxy A25 5G in Vietnam, and both phones will be launched in India later this week. The company will likely announce the pricing and availability of the upcoming phones during their announcement.
