Samsung launches Galaxy A25 in South Korea

After launching the Galaxy A25 in India and the Philippines, Samsung launched the Galaxy A25 in its home country, South Korea. The device is priced at KRW 449,900 (around $345) in the country and is available in three colors: Blue Black, Light Blue, and Yellow. It will be available in both carrier-locked and factory-unlocked variants.

Galaxy A25 comes with a 120Hz OLED screen

The Galaxy A25 features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. Samsung has also equipped the screen with Vision Booster and Eye Comfort Shield technologies. The device has a 13MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary rear camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The phone features VDIS (Video Digital Image Stabilization) for video recording.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A25 with the 5nm Exynos 1280 processor, 6GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. It also has a microSD card slot that is compatible with up to 1TB microSD cards for storage expansion. The Galaxy A25 runs Android 14 and will get four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates. Other features include Samsung Knox, Samsung Pass (with NFC and MST), stereo speakers, and a fingerprint reader.

The phone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. Connectivity features of the phone include GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, a USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a headphone jack.

An official from Samsung Electronics said, “The Galaxy A25 5G is a product that allows you to enjoy the mobile experience unique to Samsung smartphones, from the large screen to the camera and Samsung Pay, without burden. In the new year, we look forward to a more free entertainment life with the Galaxy A25 5G. I hope you see it.
