A few days ago, the Galaxy A34 5G and the Galaxy A54 5G received Bluetooth certification. This hinted at their imminent launch. Cut to now, the Galaxy A34 5G's South Korean version has been listed in Geekbench's database, revealing some key specifications of the device.
As per the latest Geekbench listing, the Galaxy A34 5G will be powered by a MediaTek processor. This SoC will have two performance cores (clocked at 2.6GHz) and six efficiency cores (clocked at 2GHz), suggesting that it could be the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor. The Dimensity 1080 SoC is fabbed on TSMC's 6nm process and comes integrated with the Mali G68 GPU. It also features a built-in 5G modem and advanced wireless connectivity features.
According to the Geekbench listing (via MySmartPrice), the Korean model of the Galaxy A34 5G carries model number SM-A346N. It managed to score 778 single-core points and 2,332 multi-core points in Geekbench's CPU performance test. The Samsung Galaxy A34 5G will come with 6GB of RAM as per the listing. However, the phone could come in a higher RAM configuration as well.
Speaking of the software, the device will boot Android 13 with One UI 5.0 on top. Previous leaks have revealed that the Galaxy A34 5G will come with a 20:9 aspect ratio for the display, similar to the company's flagship smartphones. The report also suggests that the Galaxy A34 5G will rock a design that's similar to the company's flagship smartphone.
