Samsung launches Galaxy A34 5G in South Korea

Priced at KRW 499,400 (around $385), the smartphone is available in four colors: Awesome Graphite, Awesome Lime, Awesome Silver, and Awesome Violet. Galaxy A34 5G buyers in Korea will get a two-month subscription to YouTube Premium and a two-month subscription to the Welaaa audiobooks service.

The Galaxy A34 5G sports a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U screen with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,000 nits brightness. It has stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint reader, and an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. The phone is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a microSD card slot. The phone runs Android 13-based One UI 5.1 out of the box and is eligible to get four major Android OS updates.

On the front, the phone has a 13MP selfie camera. On the rear, the Galaxy A34 5G sports a 48MP OIS primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. The phone supports GPS, 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports up to 25W fast charging.
