Samsung finally started rolling out the Android 10 update for the Galaxy A50 today. South Korea was one of the first markets to get the firmware. The company is now rolling out the update in India, a market where the Galaxy A50 performed exceptionally well.

The Galaxy A50 sold a considerable number of units in India. Users there have been patiently waiting for the Android 10 update to arrive. The wait ends for them today as Samsung has now started rolling out the Galaxy A50 Android 10 update in India.

Galaxy A50 Android 10 update out now in India

We have received multiple reports from users that the Galaxy A50 Android 10 update is rolling out over-the-air in India. Firmware version A505FDDU4BTC4 is out now in the country. It brings the security patch for the month of February 2020, unlike the firmware sent out for Korea, which had the March 2020 security patch.

Be that as it may, the Android 10 update is now rolling out for the Galaxy A50 in India. It's only a matter of time now before the update notification is sent out to all users in the country. We also have the Galaxy A50 Android 10 update available for immediate download in our firmware section.

All of the new features that are included in Android 10 are part of this firmware update. Samsung's One UI 2.0 also brings a lot of new features to the handset that we have discussed in detail in our One UI 2.0 feature focus series.
