After releasing the August 2021 security update to the Galaxy A52, Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy A30s, Galaxy A31, Galaxy A32 5G, and various our high-end smartphones, Samsung has started rolling out the update to the Galaxy A51.
Samsung has started rolling out the new software update with firmware version A515FXXU5EUG7 to the Galaxy A51 in Brazil. The update is available on Claro, TIM, and Vivo networks in the country. More markets are expected to get this update over the next few days. The new update includes the August 2021 security patch that fixes 40 vulnerabilities related to privacy and security. It could also bring bug fixes and device stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy A51 user in Brazil, you can download the new software update right away by navigating to Settings » Software update on your smartphone and clicking on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually if you have a Windows computer.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy A51 last year, and it was a huge success. The smartphone was launched with Android 10-based One UI 2 out of the box. It received the Android 11-based One UI 3 update earlier this year and the One UI 3.1 update shortly after.
