The Galaxy A52 is getting what is likely its final software update as far as new Android and One UI versions are concerned. The Galaxy A52 5G became the first model in the A52 lineup to get One UI 6.1 a few days back, and the phone's LTE variant has hopped on the One UI 6.1 train as well.

Galaxy A52 One UI 6.1 update debuts in Russia

Russian Galaxy A52 users get to download One UI 6.1 before everyone else. The update sports the build version A525FXXU6FXD2; it could go live in many other countries before the end of the month if the rollout for the 5G model is anything to go by. The Galaxy A52s, the most powerful phone in the lineup, may also get One UI 6.1 soon.

No matter which Galaxy A52 model you own, One UI 6.1 will not add any Galaxy AI features to your phone, but it does bring several improvements and a few new non-AI features. The full list of changes is similar to the one for newer Galaxy A series phones, and you can check it out here.

Once you're ready to download the update, head into your phone's Settings » Software update menu and tap Download and install. Major updates like these are rolled out in phases, so you may have to wait longer than other users before One UI 6.1 becomes available for you, even if you reside in the same country as those users.

You can also download Galaxy A52 firmware from the SamMobile firmware archive and install it on the phone using a Windows computer and a USB-C cable.

Throughout the Samsung fan community, the most polarizing One UI element this year might be the quick panel. Samsung redesigned it with the release of One UI 6.0, and while I don't have a gripe with the new layout, I can see why some people dislike it, as it makes it a bit harder to […]
