As one of the most highly-anticipated Samsung smartphones to be launched in the coming weeks, the Galaxy A53 has been the subject of multiple leaks. Now, its entire spec sheet has surfaced online, along with a couple of real-life images and a bunch of renders. We also have an approximate launch window set for “late March 2022“.
The Galaxy A53 will feature a new Exynos processor
A previous report speculated that many mid-range smartphones launched in 2022 would use Exynos chipsets. The Galaxy A53 will use the Exynos 1280, debunking earlier reports about it using an Exynos 1200. Previously, we learned that it would feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.
The Galaxy A53 will come with quad rear cameras- a 64 MP primary sensor, a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5 MP macro lens and a 5 MP depth sensor. At the front, a 32 MP camera will take care of selfies and video calls. The rear cameras can reportedly record video at 8K 24 FPS and 4K 60 FPS, making it first Galaxy A series phone can do so.
Other Galaxy A53 specifications include 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25 W fast charging, Bluetooth 5.1, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The leak also confirms that Samsung will not include a charging brick with the phone packaging. Lastly, it will run Android 12 with One UI 4.0 on top.
